Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Arrival & Transfer to Yala
Arrival at Colombo airport, private transfer to Yala National Park. Check into your eco-lodge. Evening safari briefing and welcome dinner.
Day 2: Yala Safari Morning & Evening
Full day safaris in Yala National Park. Morning game drive to spot leopards, elephants, and birds. Afternoon at leisure. Evening safari for nocturnal wildlife.
Day 3: Yala Safari & Exploration
Morning safari focusing on leopard territories. Afternoon visit to local villages and lagoons. Evening cultural performance at the lodge.
Day 4: Transfer to Udawalawe
Morning transfer to Udawalawe National Park. Afternoon safari to see free-roaming elephant herds and other wildlife. Check into Udawalawe eco-lodge.
Day 5: Udawalawe Safari
Full day in Udawalawe with morning and evening safaris. Visit the elephant transit home (optional). Relaxed afternoon with wildlife viewing from the lodge.
Day 6: Return to Colombo
Morning optional activities. Private transfer back to Colombo airport for departure flight. End of services.
